Reforesting camp description
The Africa Youth Network launch a reforestation camp in Bousse, Burkina Fasso, in July 2007, from the 19th to the 30th.

Every year, in order to stop the Sahel desert from expanding in sub-Saharan areas, the Network organizes reforesting camps. The objective is to stop this phenomenon that sterilizes soils and to inform youth about environmental issues.

We are looking for volunteers of any age and from any country to participate to this camp. Volunteers are highly motivated and asked to put a lot into the camp’s activities, since they are the actors themselves.

For any information about the camp’s organisation, the reforestation process or any other detail, as well as receiving the application form, you can contact me by mail or telephone.
I can help you to prepare the camp as well as possible.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
Foreign participants : 52 500 CFA Francs (80 euros) per person.
It includes internal transportation, common meals, housing in dormitories, leisure, local discoveries.

International travelling fees are at the participant’s expanses.

An optional (1 week) tour will be organised after the camp.
Participation fees : 40 000 CFA Francs (60 euros). This is a non commercial activity, all the money is used for the various activities : car rental and gasoline, housing, food, visits…
